In November 2021, Cerba HealthCare entered an agreement to acquire Viroclinics-DDL, a global leader in virology and immunology services for clinical and preclinical programs. The acquisition brings deep expertise across viral-focused assay development, infectious disease testing, molecular platforms, and specialty laboratories supporting vaccine and antiviral development.
ViroclinicsDDL’s global network, deep technical expertise, and end‑to‑end capabilities, from sample logistics to advanced virology analytics, significantly enhance Cerba Research’s specialty science platform. By integrating this highly specialized virology and immunology leader, Cerba Research strengthens its ability to deliver the precision, scale, and scientific rigor needed to support today’s most complex infectious disease and vaccine trials.

Cirion
In September 2023, Cerba Research improved its specialty laboratory platform with the acquisition of CIRION BioPharma Research, a North American leader in bioanalysis and large‑molecule expertise.
With more than 30 years of global clinical trial experience, GLP‑compliant operations, and CAP/CLIA‑accredited facilities, CIRION adds proven depth in PK/PD and immunogenicity testing and accelerates study deployment through integrated central lab services and rapid start‑up capabilities. This strategic addition expands our scientific reach and enhances the precision, scale, and agility we deliver across complex clinical programs.
